Hip Hound of the Month
Brody Brody is a 1 year old Bullmastiff. He’s also known as "Goofball" or "Ham" because he makes you laugh with his antics. If there’s a way to get into trouble he manages to find it... When he was about 4 months old (a “tiny” 40 lbs puppy) he somehow managed to get his head stuck in a hole on the back of a stone backyard fountain. He stuck it in but his loose skin bunched up and he couldn’t pull it out! His parents had to break the fountain to get him out. He loves food, so training him is a breeze because he’ll do just about anything if there’s a treat involved. He's going to try the upcoming Rally Obedience trials. He’s always ready for a wrestling match with his big Great Dane sister, Clara. Or getting attention… which is not difficult with the sweetest face hiding behind all those wrinkles!
Every few months we choose one lucky dog's photo to be featured at our store. All photos are taken by Portland's premier pet photographer: Four Legged Photo. The winner receives a $25 gift certificate to The Hip Hound, their photo displayed in our store for one month, and the final 11" x 14" picture!
